Keep in mind that I’m currently 33 years old, which means I was watching this all throughout my young life. I must have been a few years old but I still remember when one day there was an episode on in which Peggy wanted all to rub her ass to help her sleep (I think? The reason she wanted it isn’t important, don’t nitpick me you donut) and so she goes upstairs and all is making a face like he’s so sad. 

I distinctly remember thinking to myself in my still solidifying brain:

“I will do it if he doesn’t want to. He should let me do it!”

That same episode had a part where she yells from in the bedroom “NO ONE’S RUBBING MY TUSH!” and all puts on an oven mitt and dejectedly walks up the stairs.

I used to say that mitt was an insult, but only now do I understand: Peggy Bundy’s ass was so hot that he needed protection for his very hands!
